What if Manny Pacquiao vs. Wilfredo "Bazooka" Gomez

Actually I've seen the whole fight live on TV when I was young, Youtube just make it easier to compare fighters nowadays.

I just laid down the facts.

You pick Pac at 130 but Pick Gomez at 122??? Don't you know that Pac started at 106? That means Gomez is supposed to be the Bigger guy.
Gomez is supposed to be stronger than Pac at 130 right? Nope it doesn't work that way.

Pac moved up from 112-122 because he can't make weight anymore. At his right weight at 122 he dominates until he moved to Challenge MAB. Move up again to Challenge morales. What does it tells you??? Pac moved up to seek Greater Challenge coz he's too much for any 122 pounder.

Gomez tried the same but he just failed.

Pac has Speed, Reach & maybe power advantage against Gomez at any weight. That's why I pick him at any weight.

What's your argument? Why do you think Gomez can KO Pac? Just because He KOs everybody at 122? Pac Did the same at 122. just because you're a Boriqua?

Don't forget what both have done after 122. Pac has Proven More.

you're the only one that's picking pac at 122, and I'm not picking gomez because I'm boricua, unlike you,I always try to be very objective and not end up looking like a biased fool. I'm not saying Gomez kos pac @ 122 only because he ko'ed everyone else at that weight, but because he could deal and take heavy punishment at that division better than at the other above, and also box when necesary. And about pac moving up, each boxer handles moving up in weight different than other, just compare PBF and Hatton. the fact that floyd came from below and his body took the weight better doesn't mean that PBF is stronger, or better than Hatton.

 

Are you saying Hatton is better than PBF???

PBF starts at 130, Hatton mostly at 140. PBF moved up & become successful coz he's got great skills & & quicker than every opponent he fought. Hatton probably stronger but we know what happened when he step up at 147, He failed & retreat back at 140. You can compare Gomez to Hatton they both failed. Pac & PBF are the same they moved up & beat bigger fighters except Pac Takes the best while PBF pick the one he can easily beat.

So you think pac beats gomez at 122 because he has more power?Did you know that gomez fought Carlos zarate at 122 and zarate had way more power than pac at that weight, he had 50 wins and 48 by ko and gomez did perfectly well and koed him.Plus gomez had better boxing skills than pac and more power and he would be the stronger figther pac has ever faced.If pac was rocked and koed by lesser opponents he would be koed by gomez.

Power is not the only thing I mentioned. The fact that Zarate & Gomez has KO loses at 122 while Pac has none at 122, 126 & 130. Everybody knows Pac has No defense yet he weathered 2 ATG, bunch of Champions, Bunch of undefeated & not even close of being stopped. MAB, JMM, EM & Ledwaba are all skilled Fighters & yet Pac makes them look old.
