haha Cotto ACTUALLY fought Margo

a Floyd would have been to make 345, 385, 753 excuses, duck em, then retire!!

It doesn't matter if Tony breaks a record for throwing punches, but its the ones that hit that count. Mayweather isn't known for getting hit all that much and Cotto's defence is appalling compared to Floyd. And of course I count bodyshots. What kind of question is that?

um, mentioning COTTO and say he tried a "Floyd" doesnt fall under "proper discussion" when discussing Floyd/ Margo.. you sitting there knocking Cotto and he actually fought the dude.. you are more confident then Floyd in a victory for him. Believe me, if he thought he could win, he'd of done it.

I like to see a boxing match here and there, but something like PBF vs Corrales which was great not like Baldomir,DLH or Bruseles

you don't fight people at all or else you wouldn't label someone who is good at avoiding being hit.

    agree

unfortunately as floyd is fighting far outside his natural weight class he's become far more of a safety first kind of fighter

    if he'd've stayed around 135 we'd have threads entitled 'Floyd's A Beast!'

you don't talk like a fighter and, wherever you come from, you're not one of the people who puts themselves out there.

you're working around the point because you don't want to say that.

it means you're probably a good person - but you just need to call a spade a spade.

you'll gain more rep points if you're straight with people than if you fart them around. just be honest.

Ok Mayweather is a boxing genious who has a great boxing style to win fights. Although it aint pretty it gets the job done. Are you happy now?

Margarito is probably enjoying the best period of his career right now. I'd say his current form suggests he's at his peak now.

However, given Floyd has such talent & skills, I would favour him to defeat anyone at Welterweight. Mayweather hasn't retired for good, he's just waiting for the right financial offer to be put on the table!

I'm confident Floyd will be back in action next year, definately! I really hope he does because I still feel he has so much to offer the sport. Floyd is 31, but because he lives the life, he's probably in his prime right now.

Inactivity can play a big part in one's career, but because of his talent & providing he has trained all the time like he's known for, I don't see Floyd having trouble getting back into the groove if he decides to box again.
