What if Marquez stops Bradley in the same fashion he stopped PAC?

There's been lot made about who Mayweather's next five opponents will be, and of all the names mentioned, Marquez is not on the list. However, what if he follows up his performance against Pacquiao, with a KO of Bradley, does that renew an interest for Mayweather Marquez II?

I know the perception is, based on how their first fight turned out, that a 2nd fight wouldn't be much more competitive than the 1st, but Marquez looks as if he's getting comfortable at that weight, and his fight with Bradley should tell us just how comfortable he is at that weight. Thoughts.

If he beats Bradley, the man should retire, and go down in history as the Greatest Mexican Boxer of All Time

Beating Brat would add to his legacy for sure, but to become GMOAT he has to do a tad more than that.

I'd be surprised, Bradley won't attack him in that way - Marquez feeds off mistakes, if you don't come forward you are nullifying some of his best weapons...Bradley is an idiot if he becomes the offensive guy in this...

Bradley isn't in the habit of recklessly lunging face first into counter shots. It'll be a much more tactical fight than that. It'll go 12 rounds.

These things are always hugely contentious, but I already have him there, and more and more people i speak to have him in the top 3

Marquez has stated that he is focussing on speed on this fight, so he may not stop Pac in the same way. But if he does, then I would see Mayweather vs Marquez AS LONG AS Marquez ONLY tries to go for the KO, and not even attempt to outbox him because that isn't going to happen and I don't want a repeat of Mayweather-Marquez 1.

Pacquiao V is more likely than Mayweather II - it's a bad style match for Marquez, he'd have a much better chance of hurting Mayweather but the same outcome is likely with a purse of only $5m being as high as he'd get...

However, the Pacquiao fight, if he beats Bradley would then be worth over $15m to him

If he beats Bradley I think very simply it will be retirement or Pacquiao...

Perfect way to end a great career for JMM.
(Should he score the win over Timmy)

Like I mentioned before. THe only way I would like to see that one is if it was made at 140 so both guys are the same size on fight night.
PBF says he is too small for 154 so then making 140 should not be a problem. In case PBF does not make the 140 weight during the weigh in I would just not fight him and sue him for my purse like Corrales did to Castillo.

Leave "lil Floyd" out of this, he's too small to defend himself

rightfully so, marquez has a chance. Remember marquez is the type of guy who takes more than 12 rounds to adjust, his first fight with pac I scored it for pac by a point or draw but after that fight, each fight after that he comes out as the clear winner

    pac -jmm 1 = point for pac/draw
pac jmm 2 = point for jmm/close UD
pac jmm 3 = jmm wide UD
    pac jmm 4 = jmm KO6

Marquez needs floyd, and he needs to fight floyd once again to secure his legacy, get that belt from bradley and unify it with floyd for such a historical bout to make it clear who is no.1 of this era

JMM already said he wants not part of mayweather. No point in doing that fight again.

If he wants no part of mayweather then he concedes and actually accepts his place as the lesser man!, other mexican greats wouldn't do that! MAyweather offers money and legacy..there is simply no excuse if he wants no part of mayweather

JMM is a counter puncher and works best off the other guys mistakes. Stylistically Floyd beats him easily and has already proved it by putting on a clinic sweeping all 12 rounds. I think he would want the fight if he believed he could win, but who really thinks Marquez beats Mayweather in a rematch? The man is almost 40 with nothing more to prove, he's only fighting Bradley because its a chance at a belt in another weight Division he believes he can win.
