What if Mayweather got caught with illegal substances in his wrap?

We all know if Mayweather was in the same scenario he would be criticized more thoroughly than we are criticizing Margacheato. He catches **** while being retired for almost a year. You add some rocks in gloves....

I know a lot of you die hard Margarito fans are all butt hurt and all about the recent revelations. Some of you own up to the fact that you are a fan(of a cheater) and will still remain a fan(of a cheater). But what about those guys that claim they were never really that big of Margarito fans? But wait....then jump in threads to defend his unsportsmanlike actions. I mean if you are going to stick by your man, man up and stick by him thick and thin(JM22).

Some people made good points about all of a sudden Margarito is stopping guys but I cant sit there and say he cant punch b/c as he got older he obviously got into his "man strength". We all know he CAN punch hard. But was he getting help? His demeanor going into the Shane fight was not his usual confidence even in the ring he was Margarito light. He still did his smurks and talking when he ate clean shots to get into his opponents head. Those that defend him and say we cant prove he did anything prior to this fight etc etc..but you fail to realize is that he got away with it? I mean do you realize that Nazim is the only one to feel the wrap and notice something was up? Obviously his trainer put good/great effort into whatever it is being concealed. It obviously was not something very big or whatever but having a hard substance on your knuckles WILL give you extra pop in your punches.

But Margarito is not the first nor the last to do whatever it is he did. That is what is. People cheat to get ahead. Thats life. But those who still hold on "for the facts" to get out. The facts are already out. It is trial time. You dont have to go to court hearings under suspicion. They cant even hold you in a jail cell for too long without pressing charges. I know your judgment is a little cloudy and that you dont pick your champions/heros wisely. But if you cheat when you are the 4-1 favorite......think.

 

The Haters would would be all over this ****, I could never understand the problem with him taking a legit 8 mil to fight the Undisputed WW champ, instead of a nobody in Margo who may not have been able to offer as much $.

 

Simple;

The people posting "Give Margarito a fair trial", "let's wait to see what the report says", and "It doesn't mean he cheated in past fights",

would be saying "I knew he was a cheater!", "His legacy is now tarnished", and "Ban him from the sport!"

 

I personally think Margo is getting a pretty hard time anyway seeing as he's not yet been proven guilty. Personally I think Margo DID cheat....his arm punches destroying people (cotto, Lujan) and reducing Cintron to tears (TWICE!) always seemed strange, but I assumed it was because Marg had the heavy hands synonomous with Mexican fighters.

 

I think we all know the answer to this. Remember when the rumors came out that he was throwing around counterfeit bills and the other rumor that he committed insurance fraud? People jumped all over those stories. Now their is no evidence that any of those things happened, and nothing has come of it despite the fact that both are serious infractions.

Now in the Margo situation, their are eye witness accounts, there's physical evidence that was confiscated, there's going to be a hearing, and a temporary suspension has been handed down.

 

The guy at the top will always be held under more scrutiny,Calzaghe gets the same ****.Mayweather is not the sort of fighter who would need to do that sort of thing.As for Margarito getting away lightly,I think he is getting far more **** than Mosley got for what he supposedly did.
