He then beats Tucker quite comfortably who was next for the WBA title. Probably beats Botha or Seldon (or another Don King fighter) and then gets KO'd by Tyson who wins lineal HW title once again
He wouldn't hang on to it long imo If he fights Bowe or Lennox, then he's done. Holyfield showed what he could do in a rematch. If he gets to meet Tyson.... Ko 1
Tucker was a great fighter don't underestimate him and while he did hold a lot he did go the distance with Mike Tyson.
Possibly a unification title bout with McCall. Which he wins becoming the undisputed champion. He more than likely loses the title in his next fight.
This would’ve been in 1995. Tucker had two fights that year…stopped by Bruce Seldon and then outpointed by Henry Akinwande. He wasn’t the same guy who fought Tyson at this point.
You meant prime Tucker, not that Tucker who was stopped by Bruce Seldon (and exactly that Tucker would've faced Moorer)
Moorer-Tucker & Moorer-Botha (mandatories) for the Lineal/WBA/IBF titles in '95....YUCK! Then Moorer gets ktfo by Tyson in a unification fight in either Jul or Sep '96 unless Holyfield gets a shot at Moorer instead of Bowe 3.
You bet he was in peak conditioning for the Tyson fight. He was undefeated after all! What makes you think he was fading? Wouldn't that be a paradox considering he had zero losses up to that point?
saw him live at the arco arena in 1995. was his first fight after foreman. you could tell that loss effected his mind. he had his opponent on the ropes a few times and then backed off, looking for a punch. he still won by unanimous though.
