I have indeed posted multiple times that when he came in five pounds lighter than Manila for Dunn several months later, that at 200 he would indeed have stopped Frazier more quickly than Manila. He was in the best physical condition for Dunn that he'd been in since Foreman.

For me, Dunn was the end of his prime potential, not Manila. After that, he did his foolish foray into professional wrestling against that cheap shooting opportunist Inoki, who forever took away his ability to plant his legs for punching power, setting Ali up for his true Manila against Shavers.

Once the way in was over post Zaire Ali would binge in food. He had a southern cooking expert chef...who cooked fried chicken that Ali loved. Ali.would also eat a quart of ice cream post weigh in.

I agree Parkinsons disease and not age ended Ali's true capabilities circa 1977 . It was clear watching videos of him he was suffering by than. He deterioted alarmingly after the Shavers fight.

Had this tragedy with his health not happened...had the Inoki fiasco.not happened....had he tried to stay in shape...than with Ali's penchant for fighting often post Zaire...I could have seen Ali fighting into 1984. I could have seen him fight Holmes twice...1980 and 1982 and the fights being competitive boxing matches.
