    The reason I mentioned it was that, from your post you seemed unaware that they had re-matched:



    At any rate, I don't think cocky had much to do with it. Joe had basically one style and it was tailor made for George. When they rematched, Joe still used that style, albeit a little more cautiously, with similar results.

    I don't think it would have mattered much when they rematched. The result would probably have been similar.

    He would have a better shot the second time around.But I'm thinking someone like Young gets to Foreman before Norton would.

    As Foreman clearly demonstrated by knocking Frazier down about 8 times inside 7 rounds :good

    A 1969-71 Frazier would give Foreman a short but sweet fight. The outcome would be still be an early ko victory for George.
