Calm down, I am not an expert on filming. Old footages are often incomplete and I just pointed out a contradictory statement from the timekeeper.

Emmanuel Steward would have been a better match because he seems more relaxed and as he did with Lennox he taught him to make the most of his natural attributes. That being said Angie was more than fine. You could see the reverence Ali had for Angie when he dressed down Don King for disrespecting him.

Cus D Amato was more like an authoritarian, an over bearing parent who nurtured fighters who were mentally fragile. Although extremely talented, he appeared to somewhat smother his fighters, not allowing them to stand on their own two feet, becoming co dependent on him. A good trainer can be a really good benefit, but that trainer is not the one getting tagged in the ring. In pro NFL Football, an experienced confident quarterback looks at the defense of the opposing team and changes plays at the line of scrimmage instead of totally relying on his coach. Same thing in boxing, an experienced confident fighter can make the necessary adjustments in the ring instead of relying on his trainer, many are successful. Some trainers can be like an addicting drug, without them the fighters suffer withdrawal effects in defeat, blaming the loss of the relationship with their drug of a trainer on the defeat.

Not all that compatible in terms of personality or fighting style.

His physical dimensions and gifts weren't really optimized for that. He was built for the way he fought in the 60's (and to a lesser extent his later adaptations in the 70s).
