......on the first time that Floyd asked him to take the test. Do you think Floyd would had fought him?
i dont know. floyd is a such a twat. he would have probably did the same thing, he did with the split, demand more.
No,Floyd has never wanted the fight,Pac didnt seem too interested either but if Floyd really wanted it then it already would have happened..
I dont think so, Bob would have made an excuse and Floyd would come up with another one too. They would use the money issue to not make the fight.
Contract was sent by GBP to Top Rank for 50/50 split back in 2009 for March 13, 2010 bout. Contract included drug testing requirements which were a deal breaker for Pacquiao http://sports.yahoo.com/news/boxing...y-pacquiao-nearly-agreed-to-a-2010-fight.html
Ofcourse, career high payday for both fighters but he didn't instead he went off to face Clottey and has spent the rest of his career trying to con the public into thinking he wanted the fight.
when winky agreed to floyd's demand that he can't rehydrate past 160 and be re-weighed the morning of the fight, floyd told arum to tell shaw that the 50-50 money split is now changed to 55-45.
First time around they were as close to being equal as they ever were, and was the closest to the fight being made. Both have gone on to fight different levels of competition and receive different levels of purses and generated revenue. Both teams have huge ego's and believe they are worth more than the other, one having numbers to back up the statement. Now only way it will happen is if one retires as a going away cash out fight. Neither side would have any excusable reason to not take the fight, which is why people still blame Pac for the first round. Numbers were near even as well as competition so nobody had reason to ask for more.. Not the same situation nowadays.
Yes. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2012/6/1/3057775/floyd-mayweather-vs-manny-pacquiao-fight-history It is already known that everything else was agreed upon. The only people who think otherwise don't even have a source. They just use their "speculation" to make up their answer. Everything was agreed upon aside from a cutoff which Floyd advised Manny in mediation, he would never get again...and he never did.
2 sources tell us that it was "all but done" and that drug testing cutoff was the only thing left. Not one valid source has been posted to show otherwise. Let's see: Date-March 13, 2010 AGREED Venue-MGM AGREED Gloves-8oz AGREED Who walks first-AGREED Who's name comes first-AGREED 50/50-AGREED Ring Size-AGREED $10 million per pound over 147 by Floyd-AGREED Drug testing with a ***** ass cutoff-Floyd went up to 14 days while Manny dropped to 24 days due to a video. NOT AGREED. So an athlete (Manny Pacquiao) does not agree to drug testing WITH a cutoff)...that is horrible on Manny's part. This fight could have been seen more than 2 years ago if it weren't for Manny. Floyd put his ego aside and went to 14 days. Manny needed an excuse to not make it happen. Pacquiao's team thought Floyd would eventually not agree to something. Then he agreed to everything so Pacquiao and his team had to use the drug testing to not make the fight.
There's only one reason why Floyd asked for the OSDT. To DUCK! The goal post get moved everytime they agreed to a term. They even had a countdown clock for Floyd.
this is the contract where ellerbe and haymon, without floyd's knowledge, added osdt to the contract. there was a contract worked out by arum and haymon that was brought over by arum to pac in manila on dec. 4, 2009. it was agreed to by manny on dec. 7, 2009 and did not contain the osdt.
