then people would just say cotto by ko in a circus fight, cotto wins even if his fight is held at 140 and cotto would knock pac out with jab alone.

And Cotto would have agreed to a LWW limit of 140 lb seeing Pac as a small lighweight. Definitely, Pac would demolish Cotto at 140.

So give me your logic on how Cotto wants to fight a less than 100% Pac?

Pac and his camp were the ones demanding outrageous catchweights from the jump.

Nah eze . . . nobody ask Cotto to cut weight against Clottey and yet he came in at 146 . . . Cotto won't weight drained minus one more pound.

AGAIN . . . as I have posted in another thread Leonard, Duran and Hearns competed at welter weighing 145 . . . why no big question? :D

If he won't be drained at 145 why are they fighting there?

Just to ensure that the weight difference on fight night won't be too big.

Here I'll post all my examples again:

In fact it shouldn't be considered at catch weight for Cotto because he is not going out of the welter limit.

So this one lb of water weight he is going to cut is going to stop Cotto who normally weighs 158/159 from going that high?

:lol: Do you really believe that? So Cotto who cuts 1 more lb of weight is going to magically not be that weight come fight night? :rofl

How much will this 1lb that Cotto cuts when de hydrating down to make weight stop him from re hydrating back to where he began?

If Cotto starts cutting down from 159 when he re hydrates. He's going to be 159 give or take a lb.

He's going not magically stop at 155 because he cut an extra pound of water weight.

Stop the crap eze don't ask me . . . that is what's on the contract . . . if Cotto rehydrates up to 170 . . . it's not our problem anymore . . . bottom line that's the arrangement and Cotto won't be dehydrated minus one more pound when he weighs in vs Clottey. :deal

Stick to the point of arguement buddy. Don't pass to me all your insinuations and hallucinations.

You know Im right and just rant off about other bull****.

To ensure the weight difference won't be too big my ass. There is no other reason for this fight to take place at 145 than to drain Cotto. Cutting extra water weight doesn't stop a fighter from not gaining back certain weight.

However cutting more weight when you already cutting 13-14lbs is difficult.

Just ask, Guzman, Corrales, Castillo, Campbell, is one lb is so easy to lose why couldn't they do it?

That's no problem . . . make your life eassier then Cotto should not sign if he got a problem with that. :D

Right at the start I already said I don't want catch weight craps but they are the ones signing the contract and I'm just proving that Cotto won't be weight drain at 145. :deal

How do you he won't be drained? You don't. And I don't but I do know that when you are pushing your bodies limits it becomes harder to lose it.

You just want to ignore the obvious truth about what Pac and team want to do.

I hate to break it to you eze . . . but you and the PAC HATERS have been arguing with BULLSHITS just for the sake of arguing.

If you understand the ruling 141 to 147 limit . . . there's should be no arguement at all. You refuse to ignore the fact that 145 is well inside that limit and technically Cotto is not fighting at any catch weight only Pac because he'll be fighthing out of his 140 weight class.

It's quite different from the DLH case where DLH was forced to go down one full weight division. In this case we are talking of just one pound from Cotto's last weigh in weight.

Common eze . . . don't make yourself look more stupid. If Cotto is weigh drained at 145 or 146 he shouldn't be fighting at welter anymore.:hey

I want Pac to fight Cotto at 147 so he gets full credit. Pac is my 2nd favorite fighter behind Floyd.

    Actually it's a catchweight. If he can't weigh in at 147 it's a catchweight.

While I dislike catch weights. It's not what's bothering me, it's the reason they are doing it. And it's to ensure the weight difference come fight time is too big.
DLH screwed his whole body up. He actually weighed 147, he didn't cut down there. He actually physically weighed less than Pacquaio and was fully hydrated.

Make myself look stupid? Please... you choose to ignore the reason why they want this fight below the WW limit. You keep acting like it's no big deal.

They are always this fight below 146/147 for one reason and one reason only. To attempt to have to Cotto drain himself.

Pac can beat him at 147, and he wanted it at 143 before? Come on man.
    Open your eyes.

145 is fine, it's what Cotto and his team asked for and they got it. Nothing to complain about regarding weight.
