:deal I know damn well nobody on here would be accepting I am afraid of needles, blood tests weaken me, and I don't know what a PED is from Floyd.

So many people are missing the point. Its not a matter of Pac actaully being dirty, its the fact that Floyd thinks that Pac is dirty. And because of that its well within Floyds right to ask for the testing, just as it is within Pac right to say no. The problem that SOOO many have is Pac not being willing to do so, is it really worth risking 35 million to not take the test???

To answer the question of the thread starter, Floyd would be catching alot more hell then Manny is simply because Floyd isnt as liked as Manny. And honestly Pac has the least knowing fans of any fighter I can think of, they think simply because Manny hasnt failed a test that he isnt on anything, while the recent history of the sporting world has shown us that clean tests dont mean clean overall, it just means that the substance isnt in the body at that time:good

Yes I beleve he would take the tests if asked.
How Would Pacquiao react to Mayweather demanding a $10 million per Lb over the weight limit fine?

:deal That's the thing, why would Pac even request something like that? The fact is he wouldn't so the question is kind of pointless.

As a Pac fan, I'd say f*ck Pac. Floyd passed every one of his 10 drug tests. F*ck Freddie Roach as well for claiming Floyd's greatness is only due to PEDs. I'd say Floyd should sue Pac, Roach, Arum for trying to ruin his name without absolutely no documentable proof whatsoever and using his accomplishments as evidence. Pac don't make the rules. I won't hold it against Floyd if he chooses to fight another boxer who's not obviously trying to duck him. Floyd is not Pac's *****.

With that said, I don't agree with Team Pac's $10 million per pound over the welter limit fine on Floyd as well.

That isn't a concession at all in any way, shape or form.

It's entirely justified in light of Floyd's flagrant disregard of the previously agreed weight limit in his JMM fight.

It was the casual, flippant manner in which he made no attempt to make 145, but simply costed out the price of the extra two pounds. Against a guy over whom he already held a massive size advantage.

The dollar amount of the penalty had to be sufficient to ensure that Floyd would take the weight limit seriously.

That said, I'm quite certain Floyd would have no problem passing a drug test. Like Pac, he has passed every test he's ever taken.

Whether or not he would have a problem agreeing to take such tests, in the face of an unwarranted Pac demand, is another question.

I think it's possible that Floyd never really expected things to get so out of hand with his request, which may have been a psyche game to begin with.

He may have underestimated Pac's indignation at the suggestion, and then couldn't find a face-saving way out.

Because any other explanation clearly indicates that Floyd is scared.

And given the relative skill levels of the two men, he shouldn't really have any reason to be.

You sound pretty confident. How about we spin this a little. How about if Manny would say,

There has been rumors that Floyd has taken drugs before. So I want to be sure that Floyd isn't on anything for this fight,......... I mean any type of drugs that can help Floyd perform better than if you were without. This means, including hand numbing "Caine" drugs?

    Floyd?

Remember that Floyd stated the reason to ask for testing is so that one fighter doesn't get an advantage that he would not have otherwise. Even if its legal in Nevada, its still an advantage that he would not otherwise have ! Plus, either way, he shouldn't be using it the day of the fight!

The situation would be the reverse...Floyd fans on the defensive and the pac fans on the attack....Coz this situation is just a tactic went out of hand ...and the rest is history
