im guessing everyone has seen the floyd video by now, with him saying he wants to take a year or two off

so what if it was pacquiao who said he wanted to take a year or two off despite being in negotiations to make a fight with mayweather?

remember also that pacquiao is now a politician and boxer, where as floyd said he wants to focus on his charity that he is running

everyone would call him out as a coward and that he is ducking Floyd.

How could you fools buy that Floyd wants to take 2 years off so he can "feed the homeless" as he said, and hangout with that 17year old from make a wish.

As if that's all his focus will be on.... he is a coward

I'd say its a pity we didn't get to see him fight more, but that his legacy is cemented as the best fighter of his era.

for me both pac and floyd's resume will not be complete unless they fight! 2 acclaimed best fighter in the same era and in the same division! it's a disgrace if it wont happen.

Floyd is planning to take a year or two off as soon as pacquiao agreed to the 14-day cutoff. What a ***!!!:rofl

Then we will never know who was better. It would be a huge disappointment for either to walk away right now.

I would not be surprised he fulfilled a big goal of his (winning the election) and that is a serious role to fill. I really do not care what the haters would say . . . fu(kem!

I feel the same way. I in no way can consider either's resume complete without fighting each other. It's a huge hole no matter what they have done in the past.

if indeed he retired, at least he and floyd both made effort to have a fight and that it just dont synch. if the fight doesn't come it will subject of very long and tiring debate in the future! they should be both to blame!

If Pac retired tomorrow I would just say "Damn a Pac/May fight would of been cool, but he is one of the best ever to lace them up so he has earned the right and proven enough to me to retire if he wants"

The only reason why people are giving floyd more **** about it is because it was more out of the blue from him so it looks more like a duck. Pac on the other hand's been trying to do this politics **** for years.

They 'll both be 40+ when the fight actually happens, then people would say it should've happened in 2010, now it's meaningless...

pacquiao already said he wants to fight floyd on nov 13 then retire

not announce retiremnet whilst they in negotiations and not fight at all
