What if PACQUIAO had fought Margarito?

Depends on whether or not the hand wraps story is true....if Margo really is feather-fisted then I'd think Pac could outbox with him.

If he can punch, and the only reason he couldn't get his punches off was due to Mosley's superior strength (would not be the case with Pac) and power (Pac fast and sharp but not heavy handed in the way Mosley is) then I'd say he'd be able to hit Pac enough to stop him.

Strange, a couple of days ago Margo was an unstoppable, heavy-handed Terminator. Now he's been knocked out and might just be the Paulie of the WW division hahahaha

 

He could really have outboxed Margarito IMO. Roach was ****ing genius or gifted or something. He SAW something about Margarito that's why they have the balls to make such statements.

Mosely looked like the Mosely that fought DLH the 1st time for a night, thats why Margarito lost. Pac would give a valid account of himself but the 2nd half of the fight would be Margo overwhelming him to a will breaking TKO around the 8th or 9th rd.

Seriously... you cant compare Pacquiao with Mosely on this form, SSM was electric.
After watching the fight again last night, Margo took his lumps well, it was only a matter of time before his lack of skills cost him dearly, the human body can only push itself so far no matter how strong a will the fighter has.

He wouldve beat Margo by UD and become an ATG Icon. Pac fans wouldve shut down forums and overthrew the filipino goverment and installed Pac as their Khan.

 

I think he would decision Margo, to be honest. I would have loved to have seen that fight.

 

This is the reason why pac was planning to fight margo... he saw something that he knew he can take advantage off.

 

Margarito would probably walk right through Pac's punches.

And no way will Arum sacrifice his last cash cow in Pac.

Not a good sign Arum vs GBP. Pavlik, Margarito and Pac losing possibly in May. Two out of the 3 are still crowd pleasers if they go 0-3.

 

I think Pac can easily win UD against Marg. Marg is slow and pac is fast....and Roach saw this, that's why he's confident that pac can beat marg.....Marg can't TKO Pac, Marg has no one punch power,but instead accumulation of punches, and Pac is not stupid enough to exchange with marg..

 

Margarita is slow. Pac is just as fast as Mosley if not faster. I see Pac exploiting Margarita's slow hand and foot speed. Pac would throw quick combos to the body and head and move out of position. Just like he did with DLH. Margarita may hurt Pac on a few occasions but Pac would ultimately box circles around a slow, flat footed Margarita to win by decision.

Hard to say Pac would be all over the place I dont think Marg would be able to catch him on the ropes for too long. I still dont think it would be a greta idea for Pac to fight Marg.
