Why not? Doesn't Pac always lose all of these head to head matchups anyway?:D

margo was a very different fighter that night, but shane deserves all the credit for his sizzling performance. i think the margo that beat cotto would of smothered pacman, but the one that lost to shane would get owned by pacman. i think speed kills and is the best weapon a boxer can have as they can outbox, stop, or ko their larger opponents. both sugar shane and pacman are plenty fast and i really dont know for sure if manny would beat margo or hatton, but i do know he'd be very tough to beat. i think manny beats him in the late rounds by stoppage or makes him retire.

Mosley had the strength to push Marg around in the clinch. Pacman wouldn't have this to lean back on. Marg would be in his face from start to finish. Just the constant pressure would wear Pacman out IMO. And i honestly don't think he can hurt Marg.

I really do believe that people are going way overboard with Pacman's win over DLH. Let's get the facts straight. DLH weighed 145 on the weigh in, completely unexpected and even more unexpected, he weighed 147 on fight night, a pound less than Pacman. Most expected him to be around 158. Marg was 160 against Mosley. He would definitely have a 12-15 lb natural weight advantage on fight night.

While I picked Oscar to win, I wrote a post where I stated that it wasn't the mismatch everyone thought and I gave Pac a 40 % chance of winning.

(Had I known Oscar was going to enter the Ring LIGHTER than Pac, I might have picked Pac.)

And I picked Mosley to beat Margo.

That said, IMO, Margo would have inflicted a brutal defeat on Pac.

Not taking anything away from the great victory Pac pulled out, this was more a case of Oscar LOSING than Pac WINNING.

Oscar had a completely wrong weight/nutrition strategy coming in.

He dropped to 147 well in advance of the fight, and therefore, his weigh-in and fightnight weights were the same (and the same as Pacs)

    No re-hydration.

He gave up his main advantage.

Margo would not have. He would have been much stronger, and walked pac down.

Pac's power is nowhere close to Mosley's. Nor is his strength. He could not have manhandled Margo in the clinches.

Finally, while a very good boxer, his skills are not at Mosley's level.

I wouldn't give Pac much chance in this one.
