So little can change an entire boxing career. What if Calzaghe had lost to Lacy at that point? On the other hand, what if Tyson had finished Buster when he had him? Impossible to tell, it's only speculation. The thing is: on the verge of losing, Kelly showed tremendous heart and came back to win. If he didn't, he could've picked up any other title except the IBF in my view.

Agreed, it's hard to call him a 'household name' at any point in his career. But with Arum behind him, his blue-collar appeal, and his very crowd pleasing style and willingness to brawl, he would have continued to fight on HBO.
