What's next for him? Does he have a realistic chance? He also dropped Thompson in the second fight.

I'd love to see the first odds pull up from the Bri'ish bookies. Even with Price being from the UK, they probably will be hilariously wide.

translation; slim to none, and slim just gassed out.

If Price wins he'd be just 1 step short of being the modern day Cinderella man. Movies would be made of Pricey's career. Oscars could be won.

If somehow hes done some mental rehabilitation and can actually fight now without his mental energy burning him too pieces then id say hes got about a 10% chance. This whole idea tho is too boost Povetkin in the UK, David Price is just a innocent lamb being sacrificed at the expense of that.

I have heard rumor though, that price has requested to be wheel chaired to the ring so as not to gas on the way

It would be interesting to see Price blow his load early and then go into survival mode, whether that means hanging for dear life and making it to a decision or hanging to dear life and not go towards the light.

If Price got the win, I expect he would be given a decent world rating and would have scored his biggest win.
I would guess then he may get to be involved in another tough fight where he could be considered the underdog. Not sure he would get a title shot as Joshua/Parker are tied up as is Wilder, but just imagine if he got to face a come back T Fury!
Price is/was a big puncher and has a chance but I would say that you would have to say Povetkin is the favourite. (Thats not a prediction by the way)

Excuse the pun, but even if pricey throws the kitchen sink at him, he wont dent povetkin, the guy who took Klitschkos best for 12 rnds. Chisora beats Price at this stage

Pricey should be allowed to get an oxygen supply and breathing mask in his corner so he can regain stamina in-between rounds.

For starters i would be gobsmacked. Where it stood him would depend on how this win went down. Does he take control behind a dominating jab, does he use that jab to attack in waves with flowing combos upstairs and downstairs and knock the Russian out? Or does he somehow land some wild half defensive block half blind swing and put Povetkin to sleep? We know when a Boxer has been impressive and when one has just been lucky. And we would want to see him do it again, prove it wasnt a fluke before he was taken seriously as a world title contender.

The only thing i can see in Prices favour is the fact Povetkin is not fighting in Russia. He just seems to perform better in Russia than out of it. cough cough peds.

Maybe Lennox comes back as Pricey's part-time trainer and advisor. It worked out so well for the first Thompson fight.

He needs a sport psychologist, Froch got one for the re match against Groves. Froch was always a nervous energy fighter like Price in the early rounds.
