What if Professional Boxers are allowed to compete in the Olympics?

    Olympic Boxing rules. Which country wins the most gold? and who would you think gets the gold medal at each division?

    Its hard to to picture but imo people will get knockout left and right,cuz it gonna be a mix of pro and bums.

    The U.S would take it. U.S and Cuban boxers have the best stlye for amateur rules. Being that Cuban pros wouldn't fight for their country, I would have to say the U.S would take it.

    They need to label some of the gold medals in the Olympics as amateur medals..

    Cause no boxer is going to walk into a ring with the divison champion and beat him.

    Spinks came close when Ali was old and he had a few pro fights under his belt.

    Sahir Raheem and Ivan Calderon will get the highest honors.

    True, their ams are pretty good as well. Many of them are older than U.S ams. They would do pretty well also. I still give the edge to the States.

    The thing is Russian ams fight in a much more professional style than they used to and still know how to work the current system. If they're using current amateur rules I think Russia still pulls it; they're putting out an absurd amount of fighters now.

    Im also talking for other sports, I used boxing just as an example.

    Almost every other sport has pros in it. Boxing is the only one that remains amateur.
