So you did a Survey in the "rickson gracie bjj fan Club".......and everyone had wonderfull Things to say about him.

whao....what a huge surprise. ask enough People in the jeet kun do community about bruce lee and they will swear on their mothers grave that lee would have killed dempsy, liston, tyson and ali all in one night with one Hand tied behind his back.

so, no, this Survey has no meaning.

Whoa...the Jeet Kune Do community is smaller than the BJJ community, with no legitimized form of competition, and yet it's founder's legend isn't nearly as credible as Rickson Gracie's.

Bruce Lee was never considered the premier grappler in the world, and he never went on to have fables created about how easily he handled other world renowned grapplers. Rickson has been considered the best and no one come forward claiming other wise. Not even in a rumor.

Rickson would have tooled Sakuraba, with his tool in your mom, at the same time. Apologies for being ambiguous. It can be be Sak's tool in your mom, or Rickson's. Either way...Rickson by arm bar.

Well Rickson is proven in so far as beating Funaki. So he has a lot of talent clearly.

Not enough to favour over the man who dominated Belfort and Rampage

I love Sakuraba but I don't know if his win over Rampage was legit.
This is what Coleman did to get into Pride:

Rampage wanted to be in Pride, and even talked about being in Japanese Professional Wrestling leading up to that fight. His fight against Sak was his first in Pride:

Rampage and Sakuraba was way more believable than Coleman vs Takada, but it still looks suspect to me.

Belfort's fight with Sakuraba was also his Pride debut.

Rampage was never a world class wrestler imo, he had the big slam but his actual ground game wasn't that of a typical world class wrestler, despite his wrestling background. I think he underestimated Saku. A big strong collegiate wrestler against a tiny Jap should have been no contest. He never expected Saku to take his back and choke him, probably never expected the sprawl defence to be as excellent as it was.

Rampage had his best success when he outstruck opponents such as Arona, Silva and Lidell.
