How would history in the heavyweight division been altered ?

Probable scenarios include the following -

    Walcott-Charles V
    Louis-Walcott III

Walcott would have beaten Louis had they fought a third time. Not sure about a fifth Charles-Walcott fight, though. A pick 'em bout.

Archie Moore may have become the first lt heavy champion to win the hwt championship. Layne was strongly touted as a potential future champion and he certainly had the power to beat Walcott. Lots of scenarios could have unfolded and more than likely the championship could have changed hands many times during the 50's.

Very true,Houdini. Ezzard Charles could have been the first man to regain the title.

A disturbingly more accurate depiction than you know.
