I think hes a more refined verson of his father (judging from the SSL fight ) However it was Roger who honed his mental skills at boxing, not only in the ring but outside as well.:bbb:bbb:bbb

Some of the more educated Floyd fans have pointed out that he'd be more defensive minded, think that's the biggest thing. Floyd sr also loved pointing out how Floyd's face took more damage under Roger than training with him, citing defense as the main reason. Anyone recall what post fight sr was going on about this?

Floyd Mayweather is one of those guys who could train himself. Roger is there because Floyd prefers working with him. He can work to his own schedule, do what he wants. He couldn't do that with his father. I doubt Floyd would've been much different a fighter if he was under his dad, or even his uncle Jeff. Who knows if Floyd Sr's stricter routine would have had a positive or negative effect on Floyd.

have u ever been at the gym seen him work at strategi? Roger is a very smart trainer and strategist and watches alot of videos to lay down the strategi.he loves his nephew and works very hard to make him ready for every fight.offcourse e aint showon all the other stuff and the strategi at video or tv..hes a really smart trainer.if u think all hes doing is holding the pads for floy you are a big dumbass. the padwork is just for endurance,såed and reflecses. they work the gameplan in sparring. hes a great trainer. ill say it like roger.if u say hes not a god trainer, then relly, do YOU know boxing?

Floyd trains himself, Roger is special needs...he would still be Floyd Mayweather Jr, half the time you don't even know what he is saying.

The other half of the time is things along the lines like:

    "This mother****er ain't ****"

    "Keep doing what you doing"
