    what if ron lyle was a southpaw and fought jerry quarry as a southpaw???

    I think Jack Bodell proved that Jerry Quarry could handle southpaws.

    ...... BUT there's no way he could handle a SOUTHPAW RON LYLE.

    It's actually a fact (or a little-known rumour at least) that Ron Lyle was a great southpaw but his opponents insisted that he'd agree to fight orthodox - and that was written into the contracts.
    As a southpaw he was unbeatable.

    A PRIME SUPER MYTHICAL Ron Lyle beats Quarry anyway. With one hand tied behind his back. Or both hands.
    Quarry got lucky when they fought.
    And Lyle proved his greatness in defeat.
