He would become a very difficult fighter to rank and rate.

Not really. All it meant is that he was not hit on the chin and he still has faster reflexes than Bernard. We all suspect he is still fast, but he cannot take punishment. This fight does not help either legacy at all.

It doesn't take away all his KO losses though.

All it would mean is that stylistically he always had Hopkins' number.

I wouldnt be THAT suprised if he one based on how they matchup together. Im not sure wtf his legacy looks like because if he can beat a top 5 fighter p4p in Bernard after all this horrible losses the last 5 years then people will question ok how shot was Roy and maybe take back the age excuse for all the KO losses. Im pretty sure everyone in boxing would go nuts Roy would never STFU and probablly challenge the Klits, ESB would crash after Bernard gets put on sucide watch.

Well Bernard does not have incredible one punch power or lightning quick speed or agility. So why not. If Jones dont get caught he has a decent chance

    Decent chance ?

How is BHop going to out box him.

Roy would be the smart man's favourite here.

And he shouldn't be fighting big guys either. That's a sure way for a fighter like him to get KO'd.

BTW, chances are 50-50 or more same thing would have happened to Bernard if he'd gone along with his hare-brained scheme to fight Adamek.

It won't effect his legacy all that much. He may move up 1 or 2 spots up the ATG chain, but nothing much.

The fact is its a natural match up. Revenge v redemption. I think Hopkins knocks him out early.

Roy is going to dominate the one dimensional Hopkins just like he did in 1995.

Nothing he does now will move him up the ATG rankings. The fact he wins is interesting. It says that he can still fight and win decisions, but get knocked out when he faces a hard puncher. Just means his chin cannot hold up and never was good, yet in his prime he was not hit clean-which had to do with his skills...
