How does that change things for Canelo in his master plan to basically buy Saunder's belt? that WBO is belt is his shield & ticket to fight in 160 division.

Cuz we all assume that Canelo's plan after all, is to fight Liam Smith, then go up to "fight" Saunders for his WBO belt and hang onto that belt and toy around with GGG for that last belt.

But since Saunders doesn't wanna fight anyone and if he doesn't wanna cash out against Canelo, where does that leave Canelo?

The only reason for Canelo to go to 160 is that WBO belt, that's it.
So that leaves Canelo stuck to fend for himself in the 154 division.

BJS is in a great position. He is a nobody that can cash out to the highest bidder.
If I was him I would go Ferrari shopping.

Let me spell this out for you, Canelo isn't that great of a boxer.

He was soundly outboxed by Floyd, he didn't perform as well against Lara as Molina, Martirosyan or even Angulo before the freak eye injury. It could be argued he lost to Lara.

Like Lara, Trout is a tricky slick southpaw who's hard to look good against, and it could be argued that he lost to him. I could easily have been a draw.

Billy Joe Saunders is a tricky slick southpaw, who hits harder than Lara and Trout, is more slippery than both of them, is taller than both of them and is physically larger than both of them. He's equally skilled, if not a little better than both of them as well.

Canelo will lose to Saunders, maybe even by KO.

Like lep said most of you don't seem to comprehend just how good Billy Joe Saunders is.

no because hes not a one of these things: a yank, black, tries to be a gangster, hasnt sparred in mayweathers gym.

saunders is the slickest bpxer in the middleweight division!

stronger and x100 tougher than khan with more power, and IQ.

i dont know why people sleep on saunders. hes about the only guy able to decision GGG.

If they follow the GGG blue print he can send the exact same offer to Jessie Vargas.

Lol canelo has no power shocking power for someone his size

Brook thurman and spence hit harder

canelo only really has knocked out khan and kirkland

a 42 year old shot mosley went 12 rounds and 6 months later got stopped by miundane

matthew hatton went 12 rounds with him

    rhodes went the distance

against any top 10 mw Canelo gets stopped

his team know he stands no chance at 160 against the likes of lemeuw, jacobs, saunders, quillin, lee, eubank these guys may not have the big names like mosley/mayweaher/khan but they are bigger and much stronger and canelo would fold against them

Hey saunders would cut canelo's face up. GGG is another task.

Saunders like the other middleweights are licking their lips to face the ginger ****.

I agree that Saunders would have very little trouble with Alvarez. That's why I don't think Oscar will put Alvarez in the ring with him.

Why? Because he doesn't think he can beat GGG? That makes him smart, he sees all the qualities GGG possesses a lot more clearly than most of his detractors, who clearly don't know as much about the sport as they claim they do, at least he flat out says it like a man rather than call him out and then waffle like a b****, like CEJ did. Or pretend he wants a fight and make no formal offer or even move up and test the waters like Lara's ***** ass, Lara can't beat Vanes clean, he knows GGG kills him and is using his name to keep his name relevant.
