What if Seldon Didn't Freeze on that Fateful Night in 1996?

I remember this fight. Not sure if it was a fix in terms of Seldon getting Extra money on the side to lose but he definitely froze and wanted out. That stumble half way through Richard Steele's count on the second kd is laughable. Bad acting.

Seldon was never any good. No fighting heart whatsoever. Not worthy of discussion.

If Seldon didn't choke, and the fight went longer than one round, then Tupac wouldn't have seen the guy in the casino with the Death Row chain, a fight wouldn't have erupted in the lobby, and the gunmen don't follow him to the after party and shoot him on the way.

Tupac marries Kidada Jones (sister of actress Rashida Jones from Parks and Rec and the writer of the upcoming Toy Story 4 movie) ... Rashida and Kidada and their mom Peggy Lipton (from the 60s TV show Mod Squad), along with Tupac, become the 90s versions of the Kardashians and Kanye West ... and Rashida never plays Anne on Parks and Rec.

To summarize: If Seldon goes longer ... Tupac lives ... the Lipton/Jones' become the Kardashians ... Parks and Rec never has a character named Anne.

Changes everything. Seldon still loses, though.

I believe Seldon got hit on the top of his head just as Lou Savarese did and went down legitimately. I think he got up clear headed but didnt want to go on so he did that boogaloo with his legs and it was waved off. It was embarassing and he tried to make a comeback but was just horrible in his comeback.

Damn. Seldon killed Tupac. Another reason he should be ashamed of his performance that night. Your post actually makes sense, but I think Tupac would have suffered the same fate at a later date if he was involved in a dispute between rival gangs.

I think people tend to conveniently forget that one. I suppose it suits all the Tyson fan boys though.

Good post. I've also always thought Orlando Anderson and his crew killed Tupac in retaliation for the beatdown (a retaliation for a previous beatdown)....not this media thing of how Tupac and Biggie's beef lead to both of them dying. Biggie is one thing (crooked LA cops hired by Suge), that I can believe, but Pac being killed because of the beef is another. What evidence supports that?

The stories of Puff/Biggie hiring people to kill Pac have largely been discredited. The "Suge had Pac killed" theories are interesting, but that's a hell of a risk to be sitting a couple of feet away from the target.

I agree too. I love his music, but a 25 year old celebrity selling millions of records suddenly deciding to become a gang-banger is pretty ****ing stupid.

Seldon was more of an athlete than a fighter, kind of like Pascal. He came apart when the heat was on.

Agree on the lack of heart; disagree on not being "worthy" of discussion. No less worthy than the dozens of other hypotheticals that play out daily on this forum.

I recall him going down swinging with Bowe, but it's been a while since I last watched that fight.
