I dont like this kind of thing, because history is what history is, and thats that. But, to answer the the question which is this thread, history would most likely have a different story to tell - imo

I think we would see a mixed picture.

Sullivan would have cleaned house untill he became old and worn by riotous living whoever he had fought. There was simply n obody who could have touched him in his prime.

Peter Jackson would have dethroned him before Corbett and it is possible that Corbett would never have been champion.

Jeffries would not have been denied andthere would have been nobody to touch him untill Jack Johnson reached his prime. Depending on how events unfolded Johnson might have picked up the title without Hart or Burns ever becoming chamion.

Jack Johnson would probably have had a shorter title reign if he had met the top black contenders of his era as champion and ironicaly might have been the bigest looser here. One or more of the black dynamite crew would have held the title and Willard might never have been champion.

When young Jack Dempsey came up through the heavyweight division Harry Wills would almost certainly have been the incumbant champion when he challenged for the title. Rather than Dempsey defending his title against wills he would have fought Wills for the title at Reno and he would not have been denied.

I think that the title would always have changed hands a few times between Dempsey loosing it and Joe Louis coming along. The only thing that would be diferent is that sombody like George Godfrey might have ended up in the mix somwhere.

Were the Black Heavyweights shut out only in America? Was it the same situation in Europe?

Jeffries was going to win the title at some point ,I think that is a given ,Hart and Burns ,maybe not Willard probably doesnt get a look in either.I see Dempsey beating Wills rather handily ,whichever of them is Champ, big slow guys were Jacks meat.Godfrey was rather inconsistant,I dont see him beating a prime Dempsey.Johnson might have given way to Jeanette,or Langford, with Wills coming through as they aged ,similar to what actually happened.

Fighters like Jeannette and McVey could have changed history!!!

I don't know how good Denver Ed Martin or Hank Griffin were, but

I suspect that they were excellent fighters.
