I'm estimating on the basis of the amount of punishment Hatton received fighting Tszyu, then I kind of cross-referenced that in my head with the rate Pacquiao was landing punches in comparison to Tszyu while also considering that Hatton was less effective at hurting Pacquiao.

Was this not the point of the thread?

I thought I was being asked "What if the Hatton who beat Tszyu had turned up against Pacquiao?" I thought my answer was a direct answer to the question. Have I missed something? Was there a deep subtext to the question I didn't pick up on?

what hatton fought him??? the guy is in his prime...he held tsyzu the whole time ...he holds everyone...he got destroyed the two fights he fought greats...he is a tough guy a good fighter but the outcome is the same every fight at any time with pac

That was the Hatton who beat Tszyu. He didn't morph into a different person. That was the same guy, different opponent. Don't get me wrong though. The win over KT was a great one for Ricky.

 

Who says Hatton did anything wrong? Wasn't bad Hatton blowin the fight, just gr8 Pac winnin it imo. No excuses.
