I agree, the win is tainted due to Benn hitting illegally behind the head of McClellan.

it pisses me off these so called boxing fans trying to do down one of the greatest fights of all time, saying benn cheated.
then i remember, the people who matter know, you cant re-write history, and it doesnt matter what these dicks think.

Cortez would have been even better, he wouldn't have let Benn hit him at all.

****in knobs, bitching about one of the best middleweights britain,if not the world has produced, one of the best fights of all time, the better man won,****ing **** ending to a fight, anyfight for that matter.
why don't you knobs give benn some credit,he fought everyone and anyone around, and if he got beat he come back stronger

If G-Man won he would've fought Jones Jr and lost. I would also fancy Toney to beat Gerald, a bad stylistic match for McClennan that one.

I remember the referee pushing McClellan back after Benn had come back into the ring,to give him a vital few seconds to recover.
But no.He didn't help him back in.

g-man was agreat fighter and i think he would of beat toney but not rjj,
the scene in britain was good too benn, eubank, collins. ther could have been some great fights if they matched them up,rjj on top though.
it was a shame calz wasnt from this era as it would of been great.
