Would Nigel still have won or would Iran made a dramatic comeback? It was a war while it lasted, that's why.

I still think Benn would have won in may have taken another round or 2 but Benn would have won.

Benn was faster and could beat him to the punch, he also had better upper body movement to survive the odd rough moments. Barkley only had Benn hurt once with a counter left hook but Benn seemed to hurt and drop Barkley every time he landed cleanly.

benn was inspired that night, I think if barkley could of got through that round, it was only a matter of time before benn had him going again.

anything could have happened, it was basically a shootout and in those kind of fights it could fall either way. I would lean towards Benn but i wouldnt rule out The Blade.

I agreed with B Bomber above but one thing with boxing is that fans and watchers only seem to remember the last thing that happened before the end of a fight and dismiss all possibilities and the earlier action ie
If for say some reason D Williams against M Tyson had to be stopped at the end of the first round, for whatever reason, many would say Williams was soon to be KOd due to being wobbled.
Many say V Klitschko was being beaten by Lewis at the end of round 6, but in reality it was one massive uppercut that Vitali stood up to and was still in it. If the fight had of been stopped on cuts a round before, I expect people would say Lewis was soon to be KOd. It was just Lewis won that round but people forget he had lost some of the others.

Truth is we really dont know, but I would still have picked Benn to have won soon after if it had continued
