What if?: Top Rank vs GoldenBoy Promotions Tournament

Another poster mentioned on a thread today that they would like to see a Top Rank vs GoldenBoy Promotions Tournament. Now as you all probably know already, this is NEVER gonna happen.

However, just for the fun of it I had a look through both promoters list of fighters and tried to 'make some match ups' by pairing boxers of the same weight class, as listed by each promoter on their websites. There were one or two match ups which would require one boxer to step up or down in weight.

Anyway here's my list (Top Rank boxers will be the left hand side of 'vs' and GoldenBoy on the right) - What do you think of the list and who do you think would win each bout? Feel free to add your own 'match ups' too

I cant take full credit for the idea - it was mentioned by member 'tinorknitz' in another thread and that just spurred me to look into it

As for the match ups themselves - hell yeah Im taking full credit haha

If only something like this could be pulled off though......ESB Promotions anybody? Power to the Fans and fair deals for the boxers!

As you brought it up, what do you suggest?

1. No need for any new belts - theres enough of those already!
2. The purses will obviously be negotiated for each bout (sticky territory I know)
3. Incentive would be to win your bout and for the team to 'qualify' for the next stage (eg. GBP vs King) and go on to win the tournament (which would take some time to play out in full - so maybe not so enticing)
