For anyone that thinks I am being excessively mean -- this is not in my character. Hydraulix wants everyone to know she is a woman, bats her virtual eyelashes at every oppertunity and hopes for preferential treatment. I intend to grant her wish and focus upon nothing else than her gender.

Moreso than her lack of boxing knowledge, this is what I have a problem with.

And all you week-kneed forum knights in shining armour won't sway me! A dumb man is just a dummy, a dumb woman is apparantly a vulnerable victim worthy of protection. You have my blessing to do so, brave yet easily manipulated paladins. I wonder if she'll one day sleep with you out of gratitude!

I bolded and underlined the words you misspelled, darling. If you're gonna attempt to insult me, at least spell it better than a pre-school student would.

    Are some people blind?

All you have to do is watch Tua, and then watch Tyson. Tua is not even in the same league.

Tua is vastly overrated because he simply has the ability to deliver a hard punch. Guys like this are always overrated as time goes by. He has no notable wins, in a weak era, and pretty much lost to everyone who was semi-recognizable.

He would have been just another "amost-made-it" in the 80's.

Typical nuthugger mentality, overrating his mans opponents. Smith and Biggs are in deep trouble against Tua, Williams and Pínklon would be live underdogs against David aswell.

I think Tucker and Holmes certainly would be favored against David Tua, but you're a typical nuthugger so you will continue on overrating cocaine sniffing hypejobs like Biggs. :hi:

  7. I'm confused, i thought they were of a similar era?
I always pictured those 2 in a hypothetical fight, good fight that could of been.

At least Bigg's has a gold medal what did Tua ever achive...thats right, NOTHING! All those men achieved and proved far more then Tua who chickened out againts LL as soon as he tasted his power.
Biggs may have been a cocaine sniffer but he would outbox Tua extremley easily and was also far better then Tua. :hi:
You are a typical hater and a youtube+boxrec boxing ˙˙expert˙˙ so I'll let you continue with your bull**** talking. :hi:

    youtube+boxrec expert?

What the hell are you talking about, Audley Harrison and Mark Breland also got an olympic gold medal. Did they ever go as far as David Tua in the pro's? no.

Tyrell Biggs is a joke, and Tua would've obliterated him just like Tyson and Lewis did. (Who are superior to Tua mind you).

wow, some of you must be some big tua fans because to compare this guy to tyson when he slower, fatter then tyson, dosent hit as hard as tyson, and unlike tyson, dosent have one punch ko power in either hand.

but as is it pertains to if they switch eras, tyson should handle everybody tua fought with too much problems with the exception if lennox lewis. he probably stops ibeauchi but that would be a fight right there.

as for tua, tyson didnt fight in a great era either so tua could win aaginst alot of tyson victims but having outboxed by guys like david izon, hasim rahman, fres oquendo, danell nicholson, chris bryd, etc. there no telling who and how many guys would have beaten him.

I dont know about that. Tua was outboxed easily by far worse fighters, fighters who werent outside pure boxers by nature like Biggs was, like Maskaev and Izon and Rahman, who just boxed him from the outside. He also struggled with journeyman Jazzy Jeff Wooden for a lot of the fight.
Biggs was way more mobile and skilled as a boxer than those guys, but its conceivable that Tua lands the bomb. Tua was just very one dimensional and had very few punches in his aresenal, and his whole thing was the little extra speed and great conditioning he had at the lower weights to wear down his opposition and stop them late from pressure. As he got heavier and lazier, he got worse and worse. I would favor the best Biggs against the worst Tua, and would lean towards the better fit Tua to stop any version of Biggs late.
Having a chance to go the olympics is a long process and definitely a fighter gets more looks against the very best amatuer competition going to state, regionals, and Nationals before finally making the olympics, and it does make them better fighters if they go, but it doesnt guarantee nothing. I would also say there is less examples of great fighters that never made it past the regionals as opposed to guys who made out of their respective state to compete on the national level.

    i had to quote this.
if moore and walcott floored marciano then he will get up from tua , right ?
same can be asked about louis : if Schmelling KO'd him , marciano stopped him and then i heard he was knocked down by some supermiddle , then it must be deduced that tua will not be able to even snap his head with the best of his punches , so does peeman's realism work. very realistic really. and i really respect marciano btw. he is a p4p atg in my book.
