On the eve of us witnessing (hopefully) the first undisputed HW champion in 25 years, I thought about Fury’s reign as champion since dethroning Wlad almost 10 years ago now. But what if he never retired? What would the HW landscape look like today? It’s kind of interesting to think about if Wlad could’ve beat him in a rematch. Would we have seen an undisputed champion sooner if he fought Wilder. Would Anthony Joshua ever become something in the division having to go through Fury to become champion. A lot of interesting ripple effects to think about.

Hopefully we get a great fight tomorrow night

If he had somehow been able to hold it together mentally, then I am sure that we woudl be talking about him among the all time greats today.

The problem is that he couldn't.

I think that Wlad would have won the rematch.

He really put it all together in his losing effort against Joshua, and a fighter who is not all there mentally, is not going to prevail against that man.
