Kabayel is undefeated while Joshua has 4 losses to 3 separate guys. When rating guys you count losses as well as wins. You have to balance Joshuas resume edge over Kabayel with his numerous defeats. If Joshua was undefeated or had only lost to Usyk I would have him ahead of Kabayel
Kabeyal has not beaten anyone to be in Joshua's class, period. Again, if you are talking about right now, yeah, Agit is ahead. If you are talking about historically, they are not comparable.
I'll tell you exactly what. Everybody on here would say "yeah, he was pretty good at cruiser, but he isn't anywhere near as great as Evander, who dared try his luck up at unlimited".
Whose fault is this though? Kabayels been a regional champ for a decade. The elite fighters are the ones to blame for not giving Kabayel his shot. Kabayel could have justified a title shot as early as 2017 and he did not get one.
Competition wasn't there at cruiser for Usyk to showcase his massive corey. He moved to heavyweight and and made adaptations to remain competative there and took legit HW punches in the process.
Then Usyk wouldn’t be lauded as the ATG 1ballot HOF that he is today he would be considered another Triple G / Marvin Hagler type that never dared to be greater.
Sanchez and Zhang were consensus top 10 heavyweights when Kabayel beat them. Chisora was arguably top 10 as well. Joshua has more wins over guys like that but I wouldn't class any individual win as significantly better.
If usyk never went heavyweight his promoter would still cheat with junk cars in an ukrainian backyard garage ;-)
This isn’t going to age well. Joshuas resume never does. Also convenient taking a couple years off Povetkins age, and Ruiz had no good wins before he splattered aj
Joshua / Dubois trilogy - then Joshua vs someone not too challenging with a re-match. Fury vs Jake Paul - retire - Whyte (again) - Jake Paul 2 - Wilder 4.
Joshua’s resume is stupid overhyped, matchroom did one hell of a job promoting him. He won his belts off probably the worst HW champ of all time and feasted on old men. I think even Chisora could have beat him, just think Chrisoras style was all wrong for him. Plus since when is 34 an old man, that’s prime heavyweight years. He’s the same flawed fighter he always was.
