What if Ward came to the UK but there was a rematch clause in the contract

    To say if Froch won a rematch in the UK a third fight must take place in America. That sounds fair to me, everyone is a winner. Froch gets his rematch in the UK, Ward gets well paid and has the safety net of an automatic 3rd fight in the states should he lose.

    Froch to come to Oakland or no fight. Come to the champion's real territory, not New Jersey where Ward almost got robbed. No rematch clause.

    UK fight but neutral venue, judges and referee.

    No need for a third fight after a second schooling.

    A rematch clause in the event he lost (robbed) would be fair, yes. Back to the U.S. for another schooling to leave no doubt.
