What if Ward had fought Adonis Stevenson after dispatching Kovalev?

    I don't even remember all that much demand for this fight, and I'm not sure why.

    Did either guy ever call the other out?

    I mean I'm picking Ward all the way, but I think it would have been a good and exciting fight.
    Wards already a legend, but imagine if he had unified on his last fight.

    I wanted to see that unification. I would have picked Ward by decision. Adonis had an awesome year in 2013 then began fighting hand picked dudes

    In hindsight, if Adonis Stevenson had been champion a year earlier around 2012, he could have easily unified the belts against Beibut Shumenov (WBA), Tavoris Cloud (IBF), Nathan Cleverly (WBO).
