Yeah because Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury don't really exist.

Wlad was in no way ready to fight Lewis in 2003 and he knew it. He was talking about needed another year at least before he was ready for that challenge.

If Lewis had fought Wlad instead of Vitali then Wlad would have been stopped after Lewis started fighting dirty - which Lewis was damned good at when he needed to be. The deciding factor here would not have been Wlad's power, it would have been Lewis's experiance, better in-fighting game and killer uppercut.

I really don't understand what Lewis' nationality has anything to do with this thread.

In many ways he truly was a global champion. Born and raised early on in England, from Jamaican heritage, trained as an amateur in Canada where he went to 2 Olympics, trained and predominantly fought in the US as a pro under the guidance of an American trainer.

The idea that his nationality has any real importance is for those with small minds. Who cares if he was African, British, Canadian, American or whatever nationality he wanted to be. It's unimportant.

Oh cool, thanks for clearing that up in such a thoughtful, intelligent way. I knew I was right.
Hey, which one of Tysons multiple brutal knockout losses would you say was the most humiliating?

Vitali was good, Lewis was better. So what, this has been done to death with people like you deliberately misframing the discussion.

People are arguing about where Lewis was born rather than the OP's question. What has that got to do with anything?

Fury and Joshua aren't English moron. Birth place means nothing. No amount of your crying or complaining about how being born in a certain area makes you that nationality.

I dont call Lewis dirty as a criticism, he wasn't a dirty fighter by design but he could fight dirty if he had to and he was good at it when he did.

And? Just because Wlad had power and a good punching technique doesn't weaken my argument nor does it lessen Lewis's strengths.

    :good

Joshua has a tattoo of Africa on his arm for a reason. He can maybe claim to be paternally Irish however.
