Everyone on here is forgetting one thing... Lewis's mentality.

Lewis would not have seen Wlad's vulnerability early on as he wouldn't have been knocked out by Sanders. He'd be wary of Wlad's power and try and box him which could be a big mistake on his part.

Lewis called Sanders before the Wlad fight and told him to start out aggressive... Lewis knew what Wlad was all about even before he was exposed to the rest of the world...

Well maybe he'd already seen things behind the scenes...

If he goes in with the mentality to jump all over him early he blasts Wlad out of there in short order.

this is the sanders who unable to get a title shot in his heyday against lewis, suddenly got one in the klithscko era when he was retired and shot2shyte

why oh why was he getting a title shot in the first place as a retiree when he couldn't when prime?

    kliturd self destructs once again.

cos he wasn't a golf boxer at that time, being prime yet still unable to get a title shot.

Lewis would be favoured by me over either Wlad or Vitali at his best, but let's not make out that Lewis couldn't be beaten by Wladimir at his best. Lennox was reached, hit and hurt by big right hands throughout his career. Vitali hit him and hurt him...By the way, Corrie Sanders was a 6'4" dangerous hard punching southpaw with fast hands...he cleaned Wlad's clock fair and square that night and took his last big chance to make a name for himself. Corrie Sanders seemingly lacked motivation or belief in himself for a lot of his career, but he was always dangerous for 5 or 6 rounds and even shook up Vitali in a way Lennox never did...r.i.p Corrie.

I think prime Wladimir around 2010 would be hard to digest for anyone, but lets be honest. Pre-Steward Wlad gets rocked senseless by any version of Lewis. It took much less than an ATG to handle him back then.

the lack of respect for Sanders by Lewturds is pretty shocking I agree, especially when their hero was smashed up by a crack head and a dude Maskaev owned twice.

nevermind your lies. why are you respecting a guy who shouldn't have got a title shot? You never explain that.

notwithstanding the fact that you had zero respect for sanders ..until the moment he easily instantly destroyed prime wlad (yes, the moment - that's all it took).

Yes, never understood the props Sanders gets. He was a fringe contender in his own era and had absolutely no business being in the ring against a champion at that point. He was old, out of shape and borderline retired.

No matter how you spin it that is just an awful, awful mark on Wlads legacy.

Exactly. But now these Kliturds say Lewis ducked Sanders and Maskaev, the same Maskaev who got blasted out by Kirk Johnson. You just have to laugh at these fools who are now calling me out on my Lewis hero worship, which, if anyone knows me on here is the last guy I'd worship. Hilarious how they venture into el seccion de classico!

    I think Wlad takes it.

Vitali almost knocked Lewis out in the 2nd round.

If Wlad was in there and he landed that shot Lewis would have been laid out worse than the Rahman shot.

If Sanders was such an easy touch why did none of the top guys want to face him?

He was panting after Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis etc for a long time and they consistently elected to face much easier opponents. The whole BS about "deserving at title shot" is absurd when you look at some of the lesser fighters that "deserved" a fight and got a crack. :-( RJJ's team had actually signed a contract to fight Sanders when Jones suddenly woke up and it was "hell no, I never agreed to that." :deal But the snoozemeister Ruiz was "worthy"? right ...

he never made it as a contender when prime. he failed on the way up, destroyed by rahman, himself not a top contender.

Quid pro quo, Dr Kliturd. Now answer why he made it as a contender when retired shot2shyte in the K2 "era". not only that but almost unified champ lol! it took 2 klitchkos to stop a failed retiree from lewis era.
