Agree with that. Sanders was never the best but he was always dangerous. I never understood why he didn't target the IBF mix-up at least in the 90's back when Moorer had the belt and was defending against Schulz and Botha etc or the WBO with Hide.

observe the common kliturd attempting to sell corrie by comparing him with a light middleweight. kliturd self destructs once again.

Because Wlad didn't exercise his rematch clause. And Sanders was going to have to fight Brewster.

He rightfully gave it up since Vitali was the plan all along.

Rahman was HW champion of the world, not a "contender". He destroyed Lewis. Ever hear of him?

Are you high, Turdster? RJJ fought at heavyweight, dummy. Ever hear of his fights with Ruiz?

I'm not attempting to "sell" Corrie, what he did speaks for itself. What I'm showing is that the top guys wanted no part of him.

why r u referring kliturd term to me, when its you who is the klitfan?

    kliturd self destructs once again.

yeah he started at LMW, and had ONE fight at HW. He was a real hw lol. kliturd self destructs once again.

u are selling corrie whether u like it or not, either ru argue for or against him, and u are clearly 4 him.
    kliturd self destructs once again

and you've not shown it. kliturd self destructs once again.

So the Turdster admits that RJJ had fought at heavyweight. Excellent. We are making progress.

Next we examine the question of whether top guys wanted to mix it up with Sanders. I gave a concrete example of RJJ pulling out of a fight that his team had agreed to vs Sanders at HW.

    The Turdsters response was:

Are you denying that RJJ wanted no part of Sanders? Yes or no will suffice.

    Lewis< both Klitschkos.

Perhaps not H2H, and there are certianly arguments to be made that Wladimir will out point Lewis in the ATG scoring system boxrec uses.

But.....In my opinion, Lewis fought all the top guys he could during a very impressive era, and won beat everyone he fought.

His losses to Rahman and McCall= Wlads losses to Sanders and Purrity.

    Lewis, however, avenged his defeats.

He should have rematched Purrity after the Sanders defeat and he should have given Sanders a shot at his IBF title considering he was coming off 3 consecutive Ws against decent opposition, and was still somehwat relevant.

How would that have worked ?

Given that Sanders KO'd Wlad three months before the Vitali/Lennox bout, would Lennox have been kept in a cave for the time between the two fights ?

    Oh dear.

Looks like somebody's worked up a hate for more boxers.

Could Mrs Gee have been tag-teamed by two big Ukranian brothers when the Welsh dragon was unavailable ?

    :D

Wlad wouldn't have been able to stand up to Lewis' leather as long as Vitali did, and likewise Lewis wouldn't be able to takes Wlads shots for as long either. Would be an interesting fight. Have to lean towards Lewis, but Wlad was definitely capable of pulling the upset..... The more seasoned version of Wlad i'd confidently pick to beat 2000s Lewis however.

Yeah no... He couldn't even bomb Grant out in 1. His last KO1 over a relevant heavy was Golota while he having a panic attack/mental breakdown.
