What if Felix Trinidad retired after beating Fernando Vargas? Would 39-0 (32) be enough for him to crack the top 24 p4p all time greats? Barring the DeLaHoya fight (which I thought Tito lost) the only welterweight he didn't clear out was Ike Quartey. He destroyed the two best jr. middles in David Reid and Fernando Vargas, and has a who's who of fighters from the early to mid 90's on his resume. Would it have been enough?

Hey, don't get mad at me because you think Gary Shaw is right to file a protest over Saturdays fight, and you don't know squat about boxing history. Do some homework.

There's a reason why 'IF' is the biggest word in the english language. IF tito had retired after Vargas, then he wouldn't have this big question mark over him holding on too long. He was still strong in the Joppy fight to get the Middleweight title, but after that it was all down hill. 40-0 after Joppy and leave boxing unblimished would technically put him in the same boat as PBF, widely accepted as an ATG.
