That Cotto vs Tszyu thread got me thinking of a question I'd always wanted to know. Fights that I always wonder what could have happened. Anyway here we go. This is back in the days when they were at the same weight classes and stuff. Not in their primes but back when they could have fought each other but TV Networks and stuff got in the way. WHAT IF Kostya Tszyu had fought Oscar De La Hoya Kostya Tszyu had fought Floyd Mayweather Jose Luis Castillo made the weight and fought Diego Corrales for the third time. Bernard Hopkins didn't lose his first Professional fight Roy Jones Jr didn't get disqualified against Montel Griffin So what do you rekon would have happened in a few of those questions? And please add more if you have any.
If you are looking at when they were at the same weights, Tszyu would have beaten DLH in my opinion, but would have lost to Mayweather. JLC would have beaten Corrales - Chico was further down the slope than Jose Luis was. Hopkins losing his first fight had no bearing on his career, whilst RJJ would have remained undefeated throughout his career had he not lost to Griffin.
rjj's loss wasnt really a loss and it was gr8 seein him knockout griffin in the 1st round as vengence. he still made a mistake in takin on tarver after goin up to 197.
i think kostya loses to both by UD JLC knocks corrales again I think it'll be the same hopkins... Roy would have his first loss at the 2nd tarver fight
It was always a shame that a prime Marquez never fought a prime Morales at Featherweight. It is the only match-up missing from the whole Pac-Barrera-Morales-Marquez series of bouts. I love watching both fighters; wouldn't want to make a prediction on how it would have went.
Eh ?? Where did you pull that from ?? He didn't lose the fight - he was disqualified, his career would have been exactly the same had he sparked Griffin as oppose to get DQ'd surely ?
