Handpseed, and jab. And length in the lower divisions

Those who said balls, he ran from guys at times and it cost him. Not seeing Chin as his best asset either.

Jab, sneaky power, and range control. His jab set people up, he was able to mask his power very well, and he was very good at keeping himself at a range to deliver his jab well enough to set people up for his power punches.

Overall answer though would be the way he snuck his power into the fight. He was a known hard hitter, yet he was able to sneak his power into fights when the dude he was facing didn't see it coming. Element of surprise will help just about anyone win fights.

His greatest strength was that he had no stand out strength. He was very well rounded but didn’t excel at anything. Dude was 7/10 in every category. That gives you a lot of options

Oscar chased Glory/Greatness (fighting the best whenever) as a result, the money followed.

Today it is the opposite, they chase $$ hoping Greatness will follow. As @willcross said, he was good at everything, exceptional at nothing.

Took its toll on him though outside the ring. Price of being the golden boy in the ring turned him into a drug crazed depraved sex fiend.

I was just going to say that his greatest strength was being able to completely relax his sphincter so as to get even the gnarliest kitchen utensils up the back porch.

Oscar had terrific overall skills .. size, speed, power, chin, guts .. he was a great fight at 147, a half step behind a Ray Leonard .. hs weakness seemed to be at times his stamina which is strange but came up time and again ..
