At first i didn't like it i thought that it was too brutal (didn't like the ground and pound) I have a martial arts background as well as a wrestling background. I have seen a few MMA fights live and You cannot see very well but it is interesting on camera.
I love both boxing and MMA, but I have a slight preference for boxing. I'm a fan of combat sports and martial arts in general so I don't find friction in admiring both sports. I just hope they can co-exist in the future.
I like watching the elite mma guy's fighting like G.S.P., Penn , Machida as they are tremendous athletes and always seem to be in exciting fights even when they are dominating. Outside of these guys, though, when average guys start rolling around forget it. Lower talent guys in boxing, on the other hand, like Gatti and Ward can produce the most exciting fights ever. Boxing rules but I will pay to see the best MMA fighters perform.
