The term Hype job is thrown around too much nowadays, but what I wanna know which boxer do you feel is/was a prime example of a hype job? my opinion is that Audely harrison was the perfect exemple, sure he was good in the ametures but Pro'z is a whole new story, and yet people still sed "he's destined to become a world champion"

    any other good examples?

The thing about Audley Harrison, and you're right to call him a hype job, but he did have decent skills and attributes that were fairly obvious, he just had a **** poor mentality, horrible over confidence, and not much heart or work ethic inside the ring. I don't think his actually boxing ability was over-hyped, just everything else...

yea i agree he deffinately had the physical tools, its just that confidence barrier that held him back, and he wasnt there mentally in his fights. But i think that was from the cause of that high expectation from him caused by the brits lol

Naz was not a hype job. If you can't hype one of the hardest punchers P4P in the history of the gane, who also happens to be arrogant as Hell with bizarre ring movements, a 21-year old 'World' champ who went on to beat some very good fighters (Johnson, Kelley, Bungu) in destructive fashion, then who can you hype?

No doubt people think he got 'exposed'. it took five or sixe years and every title in the division before someone managed to do it, and even then it was a top-50 ATG (IMO)
