" By definition robbery is taking the property of another, with the intent to permanently deprive the person of that property. " Seems to me like a competitive or a close fight is not a robbery. According to the ESB forum. :conf
When a guy very clearly wins but doesnt get it e.g. Chisora vs helenius or chavez vs whitaker, a very close fight is controversial e.g williams vs sergio 1. A fight like pac vs marquez 3 is probably somewhere in between since most feel marquez won allthough it could be a draw. With controversial fights you should respect the decision imo but otherwise its fair to be mad.
What is a pointless thread This one. Asking what is a robbery is like asking why do pigs stinks. Common ****ing sense
Usually it consist of me following you down an alley, pointing a knife in your neck and ****ing you in the ass
"Robbery" is overused in boxing, but there are times when it defintely appllies. I thought JMM got mildly robbbed vs Pac the third go round. Lara got blatantly robbed vs Williams.
Y'know, I watched that fight the other day...it wasn't a robbery. The rounds FMJ won, he was hitting Castillo. The rounds he lost, he wasn't exactly getting hit a lot...he was just not throwing because of his hurt hand. The fight could have went either way.
So if you clearly win 7-5 and dont get the nod then there is no robbery ? :good Thank you. THAT IS ****ING RIDICULOUS Basically what some of you are saying is that because Matthysse did not dominate Judah and Alexander he was not robbed.
