I would say when it's a clear cut win for a fighter by at least 7 rounds to 5 in most viewers eyes possibly 8-4 and they give to the other guy.
Pretty simple, A robbery is when a fighter dominates another, every round he wins is clear cut and the round in which the opponent wins can go either way, are only because the dominate fighter took a break or because the dominate fighter just want not as dominate. Then the result is victory for the dominated fighter. Chisora V. Helenius is one great example. Manny and Juan's fights are all considered robberies based on who you ask. However, they are not really robberies. More so fights where it was close but based on who you prefer, it can be.
1) Lara VS "Most feared ****ed in 2nd round" 2) The ref robbed Andrade of the IBF smw title That's the definition of a robbery
i agree with you. i also thought the punch stat numbers were inflated from rounds castillo won. I had it 7-5.
I never said that, all I said was 7-5 is not clear cut its a close fight. I think a robbery could consist of numerous things in boxing. For example, shitty ref, shitty judges, and of course poor scoring.
