Unless you dominate at least 7 rounds, that's right. It's not clear unless there's no way the fight can be taken from you. Lara dominated eight rounds of his fight with Paul Williams. That means you would have to be pretty ridiculous to give any of those eight to Williams. Thus, PTP couldn't win the fight without some unfairness going on. (Robbery)

With Williams vs. Martinez I, there were a lot of swing rounds. You could basically have either fighter winning depending on who you gave the swing rounds to. I gave the fight to Martinez, but since he didn't dominate, he didn't clearly win the fight. So, Williams winning is not out of the question. (Not a robbery)

To answer your question simply: Yes, you do have to dominate to a certain degree to be determined the clear winner.

Williams vs Lara.............Palacios vs Wlodarczyk= robberies

Khan vs Peterson= too close to call a robbery

robbery to me= when the judges give an L to someone who won 8 clear rounds or more....anything less than that can be interpreted different ways depending on style preference of who's judging.

Everybody knows what robbery in boxing means. However, the root cause of the problem comes from those corrupt judges at the ringside who can be bribed.

Robbery is a fight nobody can dispute, thats my definition

Pac vs Marquez 3 not a robbery why because many ppl will disagree on who won

Lara vs Williams a robbery why because nobody says they thought Williams won

a robbery is obvious and a decision that could not possibly be defended

sadly ppl cry robbery lots of times when a guy clearly loses but finishes strong and ppl forget its round by round and jsut think the better finish wins the fight

or its who they want to win

if a fight is debatable its not a robbery a robbery is supposed to be an obvious bad call
