What the hell does "distracted" even mean?

How would being "distracted" affect the way Margarito fights? He fights like a caveman, there's not a lot of thinking involved. It's not like he threw the fight or quit in the middle of it. But since he was "distracted," we shouldn't count the fight as legitimate? Bull****.

from a physical standpoint, there should be no excuses, because the fighters have ample time to train and prepare their body. exceptions are last minute subsitute due to injury to one of the fighters. ledwahba fought pacquiao who was a substitute for the injured enrique sanchez. ledwahba did'nt have ample time to prepare for the big hitting pacquiao and still believes that with ample preparation at that time the result woould have been different. accidental headbutts could handicapped one of the fighters if it will impair his vision. psychological, maybe ie tragic news about people close to one of the fighters may be valid.

    Not at your peak.

If you suddenly lose after winning, it is obvious you are not at your peak.

You don't judge a boxer when he is on the down.
