If you really believed that you should be calling for the fight now, but you aren't. I can only conclude that you're scared too. So you are full of it.
I don't think Wilder deserves a 10 million dollar payday. That said, in the same universe as the one Charles Martin got 5 million dollars to put his title on the line, Wilder getting paid twice of it to put his title(and the ring title would probably be on the line for that fight as well) isn't outrages.
I haven't seen any evidence of that because they are going along with whatever Eddie Hearn tells them. Apparently you people are ok with waiting a few years. I don't think AJ is at a high level when it comes to boxing, his ring IQ is actually poor, still has bad stamina. There's nothing scary about his boxing and that's supposed to be his biggest advantage over Wilder. The way you talk, you make AJ sound like he's prime Lennox Lewis when it comes to boxing, he's far from that, very manageable for Wilder.
If Joshua doesn’t fight Wilder next year, I’m still confident Joshua will be in a big fight. The same way I’m confident that if Wilder doesn’t fight Joshua next year, then Wilder won’t be in a big fight.
Martin was overpaid. He would never of got that elsewhere but Hearn saw it as a price worth paying to get the belt. The difference now is AJ doesn't need Wilder. Wilder needs AJ if he wants to make serious money.
Yeah it would be a great laugh watching your hero get crushed in front of his own fans. Those are some of my favorite moments in boxing.
Total garbage. Sick of these "fighters" pulling this crap. If he doesn't want to unify, drop the damn belt. Never have we had two top HW's who acted like total pussies.
What other big fighs are there? Don't say Parker who just fought in front of an half empty arena in the UK, with ppv numbers likely in the 4 figures.
AJ just beat Wladamir Klitschko.... Who despite being 41 is not only better than everyone on Wilders complete joke of a resume, is clearly better than the man himself.
I wouldn't begrudge Joshua if he is scared of Wilder, the guy has a tremendous right hand.It will land,at some point,it's not like he can avoid it,i think theirs a chance he believes this time he will stay down if it's from Wilder,as if he gets up,Wilder will break his face as he's younger and fresher and more power from him than WK,but he just took a Hard Ko from Klitschko.Would it be medically and health wise correct,to go into a fight with another fighter with scary power in his Arsenal and capable of Knocking him out,in less than 12 months.Money wise they can also build it up,for longer if it happens in 2019/2020.Then you have the Argument of UK/US where does it happen,a lot of interesting factors.
Yeah, that's my point. Hearn had no problems paying Martin 100x of his worth for that very definition of a paper belt. But now he doesn't want to overpay Wilder, to collect not only the WBC belt, but possibly the ribg belt also? That just doesn't Sound right to me. Joshua, Wilder, Parker... If these guys want to become the undisputed and the lineal HW champion of the World(which should be the ultimate goal for any titlist) they need each other. I geniuenly don't care how much money any of them make.
I hate to break it to you, but Wilder is not a star. Parker will generate a similar amount of interest. Why, because of Joshua, and of course Parker’s own followers from his nation. My point is that Joshua will take on a high profile, dangerous fighter, next year, regardless of whether he fights Wilder or not. I do not expect Wilder to do the same. Look, Wilder is a dangerous fighter and without Tyson je’s probably Joshua’s biggest threat, but I expect Joshua to beat him. However, Joshua really does not need the fight. Other than the belt, what does he gain? Joshua’s already considered the best in the division, and he’s already making mega money, per fight. It’s high risk, low reward. For Wilder, it’s high risk, high reward. We might not like it, but those are the facts. As long as he’s fighting decent opposition at least once a year, he really can afford to let Wilder wilt away for a few years. Unless Wilder builds his reputation/marketability that is.
