Did someone use this training tool? If I correctly understand you, it makes the hand more powerful in the moment when your fist touch the target and a punch will be more tough? Are there any specialists who can explain is this truth that with the help of this training tool you can make your punch more powerful???

It's like doing push-UPS on rings

Looks to me like it’s causing an overload of all the fast twitch muscle fibres. It’s just a progression of the basic press up which builds strength in the chest, shoulders and triceps. Using these will actively engage the core and improves joint stability and balance.

Do you think push-UPS on this simulator are more difficult than on gymnastic rings?

I had a look at it and while it seems gimmicky, I don't think it'd hurt. Is it the missing ingredient you need to turn yourself into Bob Foster - no, sadly not. But training is boring and its something to add in for variety - so why not.

My only concern is that the guy doing the exercise looks to be shaking from exertion at full or close to full extension under load (his own bodyweight) - so I wonder whether that could hurt his rotator cuff.

Here is what is written in the Russian sports Wikipedia

The x1-PRO simulator creates a plyometric load on the stabilizer muscles, increases the ability of the fighter's hand to muffle the reverse inertia of the blow when the fist collides with the target by reducing the shock absorption in the wrist, elbow, shoulder, which contributes to an increase in the punching force of the blow.
This is achieved by doing push-UPS on a simulator with a special ledge that creates an unstable support.
The x1-PRO is gripped with the index and middle finger. The created load makes the impact part of the fist less sensitive to pain and strengthens the metacarpal bones of the hand minimizing frequent injuries to the hands of the fighter.

An expert in the field of Boxing, the designer of the device claims using the simulator X1-PRO, we have a novel and unique method of training the fighter compression knuckle (accented strike) at the time of running with purpose through the receptors of muscle sensitivity(Proprioception).
Before that, this process could not be regulated with the help of a trainer or any other means. The contraction of the hand muscles was performed by visual control of the fighter.
The time to comprehend this technically difficult moment depended on the talent and ability of the fighter to feel his body.
Also, the purpose of the simulator is to strengthen the impact surface and the main nodes of the hand that bear the load at the moment of impact of the fist in order to minimize frequent injuries to the hands of the fighter, sometimes because of which the athlete is forced to stop his career.
X1-PRO creates a simulated load on the stabilizer muscles that exceeds the load received in real combat at the moment of impact of the fist with the target.

Well, without going into the asserted scientific basis for the product, I guess the only thing to say is you'll have to buy it, try it out and let us know how your body responded.

An impartial testimonial, so to speak.
