Hearns's best days were at WW and JMW. None the less, there is no ideal weight class for someone who is 6'1". Everyone has different body types and attributes.

You said yesterday that you're 6'1" and 152lb...so I'm gonna say anywhere from LW to JMW. I'm 5'10" and I walk around at 154. When I fight, I drop to about 140.

Depends, Mike Tyson's bones or Diego Corrales's bones,.Neither is 6ft 1 but you should see my point though.

If you look at the bwi for a 6' 1" guy it should be LHW. But in boxing it can be anything between Light Welterweight and OverWeight.

Depends entirely on build. I'm 6'1 and couldn't cut down to Cruiserweight without losing a leg, other guys are freaks like Hearns and can boil down to Welterweight.

Go for the weight that you feel comfortable and strong at. Keep your conditioning up and eat a healthy diet and you'll probably gravitate pretty close to that on your own without having to cut much.

There really is no "best" weight class. It really just depends on your body type and how your body responds to specific weight ranges...assuming that you are cutting the weight intelligently, of course.

Many will say that MW or SMW would be your best weight classes but if you are currently 200ish lbs and have muscular legs it might difficult to boil down to 160 OR 168 as it is is never advisable to cut or lose muscle to make weight. So again, it all comes down to your current weight and your specific body type...independent of any nutritional knowledge you may or may not possess.

You're the 17 y.o aincha? If you're asking about what weight class you should be looking at you'll just have to wait'n'see.

Can't remember how heavy you said you are at the moment, but you've a few years yet before you'll reach your final build. For the time being don't push it - eat right, exercise well and train and see what weight you naturally gravitate towards

Probably at least MW in the long run, but there's 6'1" cruisers out there, and it's not impossible you'll grow another inch anyways.
