No man of any nationality should vacate a belt and dishonor their people. The Mexicans have a tradition of being ring warriors.

Canelo has just dishonored them. Of course he should be ostracized. That's how honor works.

I don't think Canelo wants to jump straight to 160 against the hard hitting Golovkin. I think he'd rather test the waters against a lighter hitter first.

You're preaching to the choir. Do y'all think I'm defending Canelo? :huh

The WBC didn't mistreat him at all, he just didn't want to negotiate on their terms.

  4. "You acting like a hoe you acting like a ***** so that's what I'm gonna call you a ***** ass that's not gonna change"

Canelo "I will fight him right now I brought him in the ring to prove I am not scared"

Canelo "I will fight him at 160 we Mexicans don't **** about"

Canelo hands GGG his belt may 18 2016

even Mayweather never showed this much *****ness

So I guess all the Mexicans should be embarrassed to be Mexican now? Since Canelo just made them all look like cowards?

So Canelo don't want to go up 5lb to the max limit in his division, he wants to drain Golovkin, he don't want Golovkin to get maybe a possible 45% (this figure is being debated) and this makes the fight now easier to make, this is a good move?

Ok  if Canelo wants the fight as much as he says he does isnt making it any easier.

So to recap, Golvokin should fight at 155, take far less money and just be happy. I bet he is glad you are not his promoter or manager :good

The fact is (and it is a fact) Golovkin has humiliated Canelo, Canelo has handed him the belt and basically said "don't hurt me".

So far he has ducked, don't try to spin a blatant duck, if any world champion drops his belt to avoid his mandatory it is a duck, there is no other way you can see it.

I don't recall Canelo saying he'd fight him at 160, in fact, many people here were pointing out how he didn't during the post-fight interview. Unless he said this at the post-presser? :think

  8. Yes and that's how they feel

  9. He said it at the post fight presser

see that's what makes it even worse

I cant understand Mayweather or cotto not wanting to fight GGG because they are smaller but canelo does not have this excuse

No they shouldn't be embarrassed they still have a long history of great fighters.

They should ostracize Canelo. And if you've read anything in the Mexican press you would notice that they're currently eviscerating him. As they should. He has just dishonored their people.

I never said that's what Golovkin should do, I said that's what Canelo wanted. You're reading into my post wrong.

"So far he has ducked, don't try to spin a blatant duck, if any world champion drops his belt to avoid his mandatory it is a duck, there is no other way you can see it"

I'm not spinning anything, I'm just stating what I think Canelo's reasoning is behind it.

Here's my personal opinion: I think Canelo should have fought him next at 160 lbs.

Just plain fact Oscar De La Hoya won't let it happen because he knows Canelo will
get ko'ed vary easy by GGG and their goes his cash cow, Canelo fights are cherry picked and that is a fact, Canelo is just like Donair their ok when they fight much smaller guys but soons they fight guys their size they are exposed.

  13. canelo said at the post fight presser "I will fight him at 160 weight wont be a issue"

From their perspective I suppose that's understandable.
